OCTOBER 6–7, 2021

VIRTUAL EVENT

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2021?

The 14th annual Wärtsilä Flexible Power Symposium will bring together industry leaders to dive deep into the most pressing topics and challenges for moving towards a renewable energy future. As countries, significant industrial players, and companies continue to set renewable energy or decarbonisation targets, join us for information sharing and innovative ideation to ensure optimal next steps towards the Path to 100% renewable energy.

This year’s virtual event is co-organized with our partner Mexico Business.

WHY ATTEND?

CREATING YOUR OPTIMAL PATH TOWARDS A 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEM

The energy landscape is in transition towards more flexible and sustainable energy systems. The journey is different for every continent, every country and every city – each has their own individual path.

Wärtsilä FPS 2021

OPTIMISING ENERGY FOR A SMARTER, SAFER AND MORE RELIABLE GRID

Global markets are adopting Energy Storage as core flexibility tool to enable clean energy transition across the grid. Wärtsilä is central to this renewable energy transition by providing Flexibility Solutions and the GEMS Digital Energy Platform, which connect energy assets to energy markets in technically and economically optimised manner.

Wärtsilä Flexible Power Symposium

BALANCING POWER-THE BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE

As intermittent renewables increasingly displace traditional baseload generation the greater the need becomes to shore up the grid’s stability with balancing capacity.

Wärtsilä Engine

POWER-TO-X ALLOWING THE FINAL PUSH TO 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY

The intermittent nature of renewables will need flexible solutions to balance them in the future as well. The demand for green hydrogen and renewable synthetic fuels is growing significantly as industries are seeing it as a way to decrease their carbon footprint. Power-to-X is one of the key components to reach the final 100% while mitigating climate change, allowing a carbon neutral society.
